Solitary Bee Beginnings

What is a "solitary bee"? Find out the answer to this and many more questions at our fun and informative workshop on these lone workers. Discussion includes ecology, life cycles, and groupings of solitary bees. A portion of the day is set aside to inspiration for self garden additions and to build a solitary bee condo. Participants will have access to an extraordinary bee collection to go over family identification of solitary bees that will then be practiced at field day as a citizen science event.
