Welcome first time visitors and returning readers. PX3 hopes to see all of you at Calvert Brewing Company Trivia Night on May 15, 2019 from 7 pm - 9 pm. Get to know PX3 members, have a great craft brew, win prizes with your keen trivia skills. PX3 Trivia will consist of three categories: Maryland Native Bees, the Honey Bee, & Your Garden Potential. Join us and test your knowledge, learn fun facts and have some really good beer. For the first 15 days of May 2019 PX3 will post blogs that we will then draw trivia questions from. We welcome you to visit daily and take a look! Thanks to Calvert Brewing Company for partnering with us for this fun event.
Day One of Trivia Blog is to get your head in the game, find out where your comfort level is, and offer up some great places to start increasing your knowledge. PX3 developed the Pollinator Challenge just for this purpose. You get to quiz yourself in the comfort of your own home and you have the right to keep your score to yourself.. PX3 only hopes to offer resources to empower you to be a life learner and pollinator patron in your own backyard.
To take the quiz simply read through the following prompts. You will see two sets of prompts and a score information card: the first prompt card is to get your mind rolling with no action necessary; the second prompts are for you to self score 1-10 what you think you know about each of the 10 prompts; thirdly, after adding up your score (10-100) review the levels PX3 has offered up and the suggestions we have to increase your knowledge and comfort to the next level. Life learner is just that; no one expects you to be an entomologist or botanist EVER but to enjoy learning what you can when you can. (entomology is the study of insects for which bees are in the Hymenoptera order; moths, skippers and butterflies are all Lepidopterans) ENJOY!
